I received an email from Larry not long before he passed. He was not selling the pics the previous year when I first contacted him. But he did the courtesy of keeping my email and got hold of me a year later to say he was thinking of selling again, only the slides had been digitized and the production would be a digital process. My computer crashed and before I could touch base with him again he was gone. Talk about regrets! Not just because the prints were economical compared to what the prints will go for now, but because he seemed to be one of those gentleman fans who is a pleasure to talk to. I wonder now if the new rightsholder, whoever that may be, will sell sets of the photos or if they'll be swallowed up by the proverbial black hole that exists in many collectors' vaults.
