 On reflection you're probably right, Mike. But my point stands. I also would like to see a more detailed argument from Sue to back her contention that Buddy Holly was the central figure in rock n roll, given that he was a relatively late arrival to the genre (he was a country singer until inspired by Elvis) and rock n roll was already in a tailspin when he died, a process to which he was contributing. I don't think even the most one-eyed Buddy fan would call "True Love Ways" a rock n roll song.
