Hi

I have general question for those of you that may have an extensive collection of original Holly/Crickets albums as well as reissues, both legitimate and unauthorized.

Can someone help with a list of characteristics that obviously distinguish a 1958 original of the Decca album "That'll Be The Day" (black with silver print label) from the 1970's counterfeit pressing?

I have never had an opportunity to look at the 2 at the same time.

Based on other counterfeit records I am familiar with, I have a feeling the differences are likely to be obvious.

thanks in advance...
