You are most genial in offering us this opportunity, Randy. Thank you.

I'd have many questions, but the most esoteric would be:
How was it ever decided that the Crickets, other than JI, of course, should turn around during their performance to play to those sitting behind them, as was the case in converted hockey rinks and is how I witnessed their performance here in Ottawa in 1957, though I was sitting in the first row?

*Significantly,* they were the ONLY act to turn their backs on the front-of-house audience... Was this a conscious decision? Who decided at some point in the performance to turn their backs on their primary audience?

This was our only view of the back of Buddy’s head... which might not seem like much... but in the end it had a lasting impression on me as to how meticulously his hair was styled. He took that much care about his public persona. This was during the “Biggest Show of Stars of 57” and makes eminent sense that he would be, later, driven to "get his laundry done as soon as possible."

Additionally, in the last few years, there has been some quibbling over Cindy Lou/Peggy Sue. Was this ever, really an issue?

Of course, I’d have many questions for Sonny’s great career... I truly love Sonny and how he crafts his songs; however, thankfully, he answers so much, in his many interviews, on-line. They just need to be assembled into one place.
