I did not know about the origin of "I've Been Everywhere" until early this year and was astonished. This Summer I got a mint 45rpm of Lucky Starr's Aussie version on the Festival label for a mere ten bucks from a seller here in the U. S. In recent years I've become a fan of early country musicians from Australia, some of whom started having hits in the 1950s. I am especially a fan of Slim Dusty and Chad Morgan. (Also a big fan of Australian rules football, meat pies and Tim Tams.)
