Yes, Rick, I agree with all that. I think she's decided to use that great voice of hers in a more mainstream and lucrative market! Higham has played (literally) both Eddie Cochran and Scotty Moore on stage apparently. Terrific player.

I think what I call "rockabilly" is just the country side of r'n'r, as opposed to the blues (or r'n'b) side. Some artistes, notably Jerry Lee, managed to fuse the two. Other artistes could swap styles as they liked. The term has always been a bit of a mish mash.
