 Hey, Chris, I'm laughing along with you as, surely, you didn't take me serious?? Actually, I loved John Lennon's comment (slamming his own band's drummer making a complete fool out of himself having done that quite a few times during his short lifetime). Having the option of hiring any one of the the world's top drummers...John, somehow, someway, settled on...Ringo? Chris, get up off the floor laughing and give credit where it is due..OK? The Beatles held 5 positions in the TOP 10 in 1964 with Ringo on drums (a feat that will never be equaled). By 1985 the boys had sold over 1,000,000,000 (billion) records. The one thing I liked most about Allison & Starr is...they never tried to over-play as many times...less is more. The Beatles are ranked #1 by Rolling Stone as The Greatest Artist of All Time (somehow were able to overcome Ringo's bad drumming). Paul McCartney? He is listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as the most successful musician/composer in popular music history.
