It is tough to make out in the b&w photos from the WDP, but Ritchie's strat was a two color sunburst where buddy's was a tri color burst. This is odd because this would make Ritchie's Guitar a 1957 strat because the tri burst started in 58'. I don't know if there was an option in 58 for two tone burst or three. Then again Dion claimed he had a white strat on the tour. All the pictures show a sunburst strat. I don't think they borrowed Tommy's because he was playing with them on stage.
