 So few threads, no doubt due to the fact that this man is so celebrated and written about to the utmost elsewhere. Pick up almost any sociological/cultural/historical study of the 1950s and you'll find Elvis is cited endlessly to the near virtual exclusion of everyone else in Popular music.

I suspect a site like this is needed for balance.
