First of all, I wish Elvis could be remembered, all the more, on January 8th, his birthday, instead of August 16th. The same applies to anyone else.
Second,we are remembering a flesh & blood human being, who had faults, just like me, you, or, anyone else. Lo & Behold, Elvis made more than his fair share of mistakes....Don't we all? I guess he was only human, wasn't he?
He's been gone 32 years, now. Let the man rest in peace. As with so many Artists, who are now gone, let us all CONTINUE to derive enourmous pleasure, from all that wonderful Music that Elvis Presley & his fellow musicians recorded....That Music, all these years, to me, anyway, matters much more to me, than whatever personal issues he had to deal with.
