Me too. When this guy speaks, I listen (notwithstanding his recent revelations about Leapy Lee).

However, I had the same reaction as you - my belief is that small town America was horrifed and appalled by the 'immorality' of Presley's early performances and that TV companies banned shots of him from the waist down.

Isn't this correct then?

'Elvis the Pelvis' he was known as over here.
