Another "10" for you William Looft. While Elvis was paying $800,000.00 annually in taxes Scotty Moore & Bill Black were on food stamps? Elvis never learned, in his short lifetime, it was Scotty & Bill who put the fire in his recordings in the early years at Sun & RCA. Tom Parker had even less respect brainwashing Elvis..."guitar players are a dime a dozen". If you check Elvis' biggest hits Scotty & Bill played on the majority. Session player Hank Garland played on some in the 60's before he had a bad car accident. Hank was a gifted player having a big hit at age 19 with "Sugarfoot Rag". James Burton played on one hit "The Wonder Of You". Elvis' genes? His dad, as he had a great voice and very similar to his famous son.
