 Never heard of Terry Dene,must have been a UK only star , but I can understand why he lost his audience by not going into the service. The 50's were a different time,WW2 was not a distant memory ,and many would not accept genuine medical reasons as easily as they do today.

Sid.. I too would like to hear proof that Vernon was a good singer. Never heard a peep about that when Vernon Presley was alive.
