 Wasn't the guitar that Scott Turner / Mackey (?) owned, the one that Buddy regularly borrowed before he bought his own, also claimed to be Strat no 1 with the serial number written in pencil ?
(my memory is a bit hazy on this - I'm sure others know more detail)

Is it possible that this is the guitar that Dave Gilmour acquired in the 70s / 80s ?
