Good catch. I'd been somewhat aware of the Lumineers, but I'd never heard GLORIA. They're a very good back-to-basics band.

I read an interview with them. They said their songs were simple enough so that anyone with ordinary guitar skills could play along.

It reminded me of what Jerry Allison said years ago, that Buddy and the Crickets arranged their music so that any little band could cover them. I think that philosophy comes from a generous and welcoming spirit.
