YES, the uncharacteristic movement of hologram-Roy alongside the all-too-serious orchestra is weird and almost funny, in a sad way.

From watching videos of Roy perform, particularly his stoic stance in the 60s, it seems obvious that a proper hologram would not move its body at all, or very little, and the only discernible movement would be in the lips and the hands on the guitar. A further "good trick" would be to dress Roy in black, as opposed to the weird white suit the hologram currently has on. While I'm dreaming, a third trick would be to ditch the orchestra, find musicians who played with Roy in his time, and put a band together like Roy would have used on the road, a la the "Elvis in Concert" tours of several years back. A country group called Trader Price used to play around Oklahoma. Some of their members toured with Roy, so maybe that would be a place to start a more appropriate tribute, but who knows?!?

I realize the hologram is intended is a tribute, but it also serves to remind us we lost the real Roy in 1988...his music will live forever, but the live performances are over. Oooooooooooooveerrrrrrrrr!

Cheers and Wilbury on,
