 I tuned in to SiriusXM yesterday evening while they were playing the top 300 hits of the 50's as voted by SiriusXM listeners earlier in the spring. I missed the first half of the countdown, but after I joined, I was very pleased to hear that at least six of Buddy's records made the list. I looked at lists from past years and found that usually only three of Buddy's records made the list. What I think I heard were Rave On, Oh Boy, Peggy Sue, That'll Be The Day, Everyday, Maybe Baby and I think True Love Ways. I wasn't paying close attention at first so my memory may have played tricks with me. But clearly it's remarkable to find more of his hits in this year's list than in years from the recent past. TBTD was #29 and Everyday was #28 - quite surprising.
