 If you want to know just who recorded the greatest hits of the music industry during the 1960s and early 70s, then you have to see the video, "The Wrecking Crew". Most (probably more than 80%) of all studio recordings from the Los Angeles area of Pop and Rock & Roll music was done by the same 20 or so studio musicians. These musicians laid down the sound tracks to where the vocals were added at a later time, while some were done at the same time as the backing tracks. It is a must see for all Rock & Roll lovers during a time when Rock & Roll was king. You'll be surprised as to which stars never played their own music on their own recordings. The DVD is available on ebay as well as Amazon. Just be careful as to which DVD you buy or rent. Make sure that you buy the disc that's for your region. You can thank me later.
