 I think T Shirt was a great album and the Crickets did have a quality lead when they teamed up with Eddie Cochran for Three Steps To Heaven and Cut Across Shorty. Eddie had pretty much broken away from his initial band around late 1958 or early 1959. Had he lived, Eddie and the Crickets might have done a full album together. Bobby Vee Meets The Crickets is also a very good album. Their chirp was never the same after they split up with Buddy, but they still made some good music.
