 Although I knew a little of his work, it was only fairly recently that I came to know his wider catalogue, largely thanks to recommendations from a fellow poster.

If you've had young children and remember their make believe games, his "Pirates Of Stone County Road" will make the hair on your neck stand up and bring a tear to your eye.

A fanatstic singer songwriter who could craft great songs from day to day lives of ordinary people.

Also check "Mother Country" - a tribute to his grandfather I believe.
