Subject: 1957 show at the Surf

 I was searching through the online archives of the Mason City Globe-Gazette last night and I saw an advertisement for the Surf Ballroom for Nov. 26, 1957 and Buddy Holly & the Crickets were listed. This show does not appear in Bill's Day-by-Day books. (Bill has them in New York at that time.) Does anyone know anything about this show? I was not aware Buddy ever played the Surf before the Winter Dance Party tour.
