I have read most of the material available and have followed this forum for quite some time.

The only significant item I have heard about is the home
movie of Buddy's 1958 (or is it '57) Christmas visit
to Lubbock.

There are also less than definitive mentions of more
lo fi audio recordings by Bobby Peeples, but if they existed
they were likely erased in an era when money was tight and tape was expensive.

I am not at all convinced the most recently found Holly interview recording is authentic, but there could be more such items.

Other intriguing items do surface on occasion such as Red Robinson's recently rediscovered Holly autograph.

I would like to be proven wrong, but I am confident that if
any truly "new" material was in the possession of MEH,
she would have monetized it years ago.

Norman Petty (who was ill with cancer at the time)reportedly turned everything unreleased he had over
to Steve Hoffman in the early 1980's in exchange for
improved royalty payments.

This created a major backlash from MEH, which is why there has only ever been one volume of "from the original master tapes". This is a shame, because it is still the best sounding Holly/Crickets compilation ever.
