Well... JFK, being one of those anal-retentive Catholic Hyannis Port Kennedys, probably didn't have an ear for Rock & Roll, much less British Rock & Roll. This was a guy who came out of Pacific action in WWII with combat injuries and a trophy wife... He was more likely into Sinatra. :)
Wouldn't it be eerie if JFK had seen the airport coverage of The Beatles and ordered a hit on John Lennon, who in turn issued a counter-hit on John Kennedy? So, like, there's this whole web of assassination and counter-assassination starting in 1963 and culminating with the final hit at the Dakota in New York in 1980. Wow. Yes. That would be eerie, indeed.
