 None of you know me personally. That's not required for us to be part of this board. What is required is that we respect each other.

Without going into any details of my personal background, I learned that lies hurt. They hurt the people they are told about and they hurt the people they are told to. I find them upsetting.

My questions were merely my effort to determine the truth about certain matters. My conclusion is that those answers will not be forthcoming.

Unfortunately, by my asking those questions, I offended some on this board. For that, I offer this open apology.

I'm sorry. It is clear to me now that there is no further need for me to address these questions. I got my answer: There is none. I will accept that.

I want to thank everyone who was willing to consider my thoughts with an open mind. For those who got upset or took offense, I apologise.

Thank you for your time. Sorry for any trouble I caused. Hopefully, we can all put these matters to rest.

If Maria Elena does become aware of my question, I hope she will accept my apology, as well.

I now understand that I overstated myself by writing about questions 'deserving' answers. They don't. Thank you for helping me to realise that.

I view this as a learning experience.
