Subject: Paul Revere and the Raiders

Paul Revere and the Raiders first charted in 1961. I had always thought that Revere himself sang lead on most of their releases. A friend of mine says no, that Mark Lindsay did all of the lead singing. I did get to see Paul and the Raiders back in the 80s and it was Revere doing the lead singing. The songs they did sounded just about the same as the records. I found some live video on YouTube of Mark Lindsay singing and his voice doesn't sound as gruff, if it was indeed him singing lead.

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
