Bill, Mark Lindsay has a very flexable voice,he can sing rock, soul, blues and soft ballads. Seen him in concert many times and have all his solo records ( he continues to record, his latest being a CD of duets with Susan Cowsill ) and,of course, his records with Paul Revere and the Raiders. If you take a minute to read the liner notes on the PRR lps,you would see that on "Just Like Us," "Midnite Ride" and "Spirit of 67 " that Phil Volk, Mike Smith and Drake Levin sang on some cuts, but only Mark on the hits.

Ben, yes Revere did the comedy between songs.Since he wasn't a singer, thats how he fronted the band.
