Subject: Up Date

I wanted to thank everyone for the calls,visits and prayers since Sat. nite. The support has been overwhelming to say the least.

I was released on Tues and allowed to come home--no more 4 AM pokes and prods. The Doc said I have 2 degree burns on my hands and face. There is a 3rd degree on my nose. I jokingly said, does that mean it's going to fall off--and he said very somberly it might!! He is going to look at it in a week and see if it will require some work. I'm confined to house until I go back to the Doc.

Congratulations to Joe for the 4.66 and another trip to the winners circle.

Hey Lee, I tried to call you Wednesday on your cell to see how you were doing. We're still praying for you and hope you can get away without the new nose. If you do have to go through with that, There's a reason for that. I'd rather have a new nose than no more Lee. Anyways, hang in there and remember we're all pulling and praying for you. Get some rest. As far as your car is concerned. The damage really isn't that bad. All lexan will have to be replaced, new wiring and MSD and Racepak will have to be sent back and updated. I have already got the doors fixed and Cook is going through the motor now. Anyways, hang in there, and don't worry about the car. It will be race ready in no time. If you needanything at all or just need someone to tlak to, call us anytime.
