To all of the racers in the south Tex. area that have called and ask if we were quiting TPSA the answer is NO!.We love head,s up drag racing and the competition that it brings.Sure there are some guy,s that have a distinct advantage at the moment, just like spot did when this class first got started,4.84-4.86 the first time they came to sealy, when every body was runing 5-teens.We didn,t quit then and we aren,t going to quit now.We have been runing the 540 weight break for the last 2 years and been consisently 28 lbs over weight, were thinking add 4.600 bore from 4.560 then go from 4.093 stroke to 4.250, 4.70,s ought to come easy. There has been rumors of some type of cap that might pull everyone closer together on e.t.and I do agree that something need,s to be done.David has some of my veiw point,s and I hope he will concider them. This is a great class and we all need to work a little harder at keeping it together, instead of running it down.We all know racing is expensive& some guy,s seem to have more money than the other but that don,t mean you can,t win ,Otwell likes to get upside down every now and then Pigford likes to hit the line lock when he should be on the trans brake,my point is you can,t win sitting on the couch playing arm chair quarter back.Hubbard was champ for 3 years straight and in 07 I put him out in the first round twice.I will remember that the rest of my life.So let,s get those rides ready for 08.
