Subject: do this DH. the driver's that can't redlite want to bring the class down to their level, make the tree .500 pro. That way everyone has to slow rt's down. The one's that have figured out how to get a lite by working on the car will still have the edge and those tthat were too lazy will have to work on it jsut to go green. If one group has to change its setup, everybody should. Dont start saying anyone in this group would intentionally hurt this class. Many rule revisions have been suggested. Some worked others were trashed. I dont believe that there will be a call for a rule revision on boxes. I do how ever find it amusing that a driver would be offended at the suggestion that he go to work on his combo and get good lights without the use of a box. That would be much easier to do than to make your combo react and guess at what number to put in the box. Dont be scared of change. I have raced with and without a box. Small strut or chassis changes, slower buttons or numerous other changes will still allow you to hit good lights. How about another topic now...Lets say ALLOW CANTED HEAD SMALLBLOCKS ???
