Subject: Wow, seeing those cars and names brought back a lot of childhood memories form Eastex dragway and Houston International. You guys were the real deal to us the kids in the pits. What were the rules back then and what kinds of times were you all running compared to now?

These pics are circa '87-'88 of the TPSA entry owned by Richard Otwell and driven by me during that time. Richard was way ahead of the curve, and had started his own nitrous company before it's use became popular and widespread. We won a few rounds, had a bunch of good times, and gained some knowledge along the way. Richard gave me the opportunity to drive a "name brand" car for the first time, and it was my first (and only) experience with a Lenco tranny and multi disc clutch. It was quite a ride....
