Subject: It's that time of year when many folks head to the Hill Country to enjoy the beauty of the wild flowers....especially the Bluebonnets. We're always amazed by the people that stop on the side of the road to put themselves, kids, or pets in the flowers for a photo op. Residents will tell you it's not a good idea; but if you must, be sure to check the area for natives like the one pictured below before you pose. This snake weighed 97 lbs, was 9' 1" long, and was killed just west of beautiful, downtown Burnet, Texas.



I received a bunch of emails and calls to verify this photo and it is genuine!
