Subject: Hey lets go to Memphis. It's only 575 miles from Houston. It's been about 5 years since I was there but I remember it being a nice place..

Keith Wells from Tennessee emailed a thank you to the guys that replied to his post on our board a few weeks back. Keith runs a 4.89 Index class over there and was looking for some info on the combo's that TPSA cars run; ie, converters, gear ratio's , etc. Several members responded to his questions, and as a result, he has lowered his 60' and 1/8 mile et's. Keith wishes they had a TPSA type class over there, but for now, he'll have to come to Texas to race heads up. He did leave an open invitation to come race the 4.89 deal with him and we might try to make one in '07 on an off weekend. Thanks for the note, Keith, and that's a nice ride you have.

Anyone interested in joining or sponsoring the Dixiedoorslammers are welcome. As Keith stated pull up the website and email Lyman Smith (gmansmith_@hotmail.com) or Larry Lambert (promod500@yahoo.com)for information. We do run off of a 4.89 index but do have a quick 4 for those of you that don't want to slow down.
