Although it only be my opinion, I believe that he with the most money can dominate any class, 10.5 is an example of that. It was first designed to be for the budget minded, if there is such a thing. Money came to that class and killed it for the poor guy. If we choose to limit the cost like saying anyone can buy anothers motor or heads for a set price, (like some circle racers) that could keep some from investing tons of money in their combo. But is that the answer? I dont know. How can anyone tell another how much he can spend to go racing. Yes its true we all look for a better chassis and more horsepower ( they aren't giving these away ). I have spent alot of money just trying to keep up with this class of racers. Every time I get close the group leaps away. I am willing to bet that know one has less money to go racing on in this class than me. It is a choice that I make and I feel that if you are not willing to make this same choice, you should go BRACKET racing were money dont count. On a second note, Spot stated that it takes knowledge and hard work to dominate. This also is true. You can buy the best pieces that you can afford but that dont gurantee you to go fast. I am a living example. I have the right pieces now I just have to get it to work together. That, I am attempting. In conclusion to my rant and going ons, this class will continue to grow with or without you and me so come on over and get you some. Long live TPSA.

[> [> Yeap! That sounds to me like you were the originator of all this Big Buck nonsense when you and your Buddy showed up with Mike Thomas old car (Spot) with basically a BB Comp.Eliminator Combo setup, drug the whole field and made all the (washed up) S/G & S/C racers look stupid. Thats when ego's and pride got involved then out came the checkbook's and there went Jr's College tuition. So, I guess you got this financial fireball rolling now you admit that you now can't afford it! This monster has evolved. It was started by Bracket Racers who wanted some thing differnt that brought pairty when they wern't NHRA racing or Bracket racing that was Heads Up. That was fine and fun. Then Big $$$$ got involved now half the guy's who started this thing can't afford it now and someone has the nerve to say go bracket racing or index racing or whatever you can afford! -- I read them all and this one sums it best!, 10/ 9/06 8:57am

[> [> [> I guess it's just the nature of the beast. You can't stop evolution. You can't be mad if someone like's nice stuff and doesn't mind spending the money to get the best equiptment available to be his/her competitive best. I do agree though, that you can go as fast as your wallet will let you. However, it does take a lot of knowledge and savy to be successful not only in racing but also life. TPSA has evolved to a higher level of competition. -- SFR, 10/ 9/06 9:35am
