When you all started it was cool to se the older cars racing beside the new body styles. Now with everybody getting the new Ness, Bickel, RJ cars it seems this diversity is slowly going away. I know that you have to upgrade to get the new technology that is available, but maybe if you give the older cars say a 50-100 lb. break they could overcome the disadvantage that they have. Mr. Hubbard I do not have a car for this class. I have a good friend that is building a car for next year. I would just like to see the TPSA continue, so I was sitting around as a fan wondering what makes a car a hot rod. One thing I thought of was when a person sees a '06 GTO, Cav, etc. going down the road is hot rod the first thing that crosses their mind? If your like me probably not, now if you cruising down the road and a '57 chevy, '63 split-window, or even '34 coupe goes by if your like me you break you neck to check it out. Now the new cars are fantastic example of how far human engineering can take a person, and these cars are out of this world and dang fast. But where in the racing world can a person sit their behinds in the stand and watch 2 cars from 2 different generations go through the water box and line up heads-up pro tree baddest car wins? I can't think of very many places this can happen but organizations like yours are the ones that allow the lovers of new and old to witness the coming together of the different generations. Now I know I have no vested interest in any of this and you can tell me to get off your message board, but the weight break for the nostalgia cars would be a neat idea from a promotional aspect. Imagine the headlines "Sunday,Sunday,Sunday come see '06 GTO's, Cavaliers,etc. heads-up against a '63 Split-windows, '57 Chevy's, etc. in a all motor dogfight to prove who is the biggest dog on the block!!". All of this may not be doable, but just a thought from a heads-up fan. Sorry for the long post and thank you.
