In reply to: wondering? 's message, "I was wondering has the TPSA rules people ever considered giving nostalagia cars (i.e. 1st generation camaros, older vettes, shoeboxes, etc.) a weight break so that there is diversity in the cars other than paint jobs? When you all started it was cool to se the older cars racing beside the new body styles. Now with everybody getting the new Ness, Bickel, RJ cars it seems this diversity is slowly going away. I know that you have to upgrade to get the new technology that is available, but maybe if you give the older cars say a 50-100 lb. break they could overcome the disadvantage that they have. Thanks." on 10/19/06 2:32pm

YES, If I am running this class next season the Rootbeer Nationals will be held again and free floats for all that come by. My wife, daughter and mom enjoy doing these things cause it makes them feel a part of the happenings and they are just good people. The only reason I wont be here is I too need to step up performance, but dont want to spend an arm and leg to do it. I would love to have a new GTO, Cavalier or Grand Am. These new cars are worth some ET. It is not my nature to not be competitive, just like the rest of the great racers in this class. I will take the down time to evaluate my program and monitor the rest of the group to see what they do and if I can stay with in .05 I will be back, if not, Racingjunk here I come.

since we are coming into the class next year this is a real question I know I'm not that old of a car but I don't have the aero dynamic of a new camaro(i.e. top guns of the class)?
we dont have a high buck chassis or new style body .....maybe a 25 lbs weight break ?
just curious
