[> [> The schedules, both dates and times, are determined by the individual tracks and ultimately, their customers (spectators & racers). The track owner/operators know their facility, weather tendacies, when they can expect a good turnout, and use their experience to make the best decisions possible. Adverse weather conditions affect us all and if it could be predicted it would be, not only because of the safety issues, but the facts are the track loses money on rainouts and cancellations. It would be wonderful if we could predict a 6 or 7 hour span of perfect weather for each event, complete with no oildowns or other racer related delays, but that's not possible. All of us, the tracks, racers, and spectators must deal with what mother nature throws at us and make the most of it. Thanks for your interest in the TPSA,.and hopefully this explains part of the process to you. -- DH, 03/27/06 11:19am
