Subject: North Star Dragway debut......

The short story is if you're a TPSA racer and you didn't make this event, you missed it! And, if you're a spectator in the greater DFW area that let a cool, overcast, moist day keep you from the track; well, you missed out too.

Rich Witkovski (owner), incomparable track manager Mr. Larry Croft, Nick, the staff, and the fans at NorthStar made our first trip not only successful but a very enjoyable to boot. We're most appreciative of Rich & Larry putting our cars & safety first in making their decision to postpone the final round until our next trip to Denton on May 31st. Larry told us the dew was coming in fast and the track and his personnel were ready, but we just couldn't get the cars cooled off and turn 'em around before the dew and heavy moisture set in. Thanks guys for a super event and the hospitality you provided and we look forward to seeing you again in May.

A quick shout out to Wes Strom for the pics and for keeping us entertained over at the TPSA headquarters! Go to his link http://www.nitroart.com and check out the fine pics of the TPSA cars. Be sure to BUY a couple of your favorites... it's the best way to thank Wes for spending his time and $$ covering one of our events and you'll get a great pic to show off.

The pit pundit and race reporter are recovering from the trek up North so watch for the race report, gossip, and other tidbits to be posted tomorrow. For now, you can check out the race stats over on the TPSA homepage under the "Results" button.
