Subject:  Roy "Rookie" Pigford roots up 1st win Donald "Boxman" Hughes runner-up Joe Pigford #1 Qualifier No, it's not a bad sequel to a Tim Allen movie....LOL, the headline refers to the Pigford brothers domination of the action @ HMP with Joe the #1 qualifier and a semi-final finish, and Roy the "Rookie" gathered his first TPSA win with some great driving. Donald and HR Hughes finished as the runner-up after a very long day filled with a generator failure among other things. Congratulations to them and all of the teams that endured the Gulf Coast weather.  Runner Up... Donald Hughes  It was hot, humid and the track temp was 140*, but Dean Baker and the crew had the track in very good shape. As the sun went down, the track tightened up considerably and probably fooled a few crew chiefs..including this reporter. Our thanks to the Baker family, the entire crew at HMP, and all of the fans that came out in the heat.
