Subject: You don't need a rule to wear a HANS or R3 type retraint, just do it if you want to. They are a pain in the azz, but better than the pain in the neck that they can prevent. After Lee's accident RO started wearing additional fire protection, didn't take a rule. I think each driver knows the risks and should be able to make their own decisions to some extent.
