I found myself nodding in approval at everything you said in this post all the way up to the last portion, which I have been kind enough to quote. Are you suggesting that Lauren is a villain? If so, how?

On another note, I think the true sign of a show that can be successful is one that transcends political persuasions, for lack of a better term. Personally, I'd hate to watch a show that was too one-sided on either part of the political spectrum. I wonder if it's proper to be placing "Boston Public" under the "liberal" or "conservative" column, though. People aren't watching the show for its politics, and if they are, well I don't know how much fun those people would be in a social situation ...
