I don't think conservatives are any less open to other opinions then anyone else. It is liberals who balk at any mention of anything inconsistant with evolution in school. Do you think any liberal would watch the West Wing if it had a conservative president? I went to a very conservative college and a very liberal graduate school. People on each end of the spectrum tend to dismiss anyone on the other end of the spectrum. How many liberals take anything Rush Limbaugh, Pat Robertson etc. say seriously? Conservatives have the same reaction to people like James Carvelle (sp?) and Jesse Jackson. People are more alike than you think.
