I have watched BP from the beginning. There have been subjects discussed here that are not 'all smiles and sunshine'. Thank you David Kelley! I taught 7th & 8th graders for 18 years in a rural community. There hasn't been a topic brought up here that I haven't seen in our school. Size of the school or where it is doesn't matter, the stories are the same. Yes Harry Senate isn't Mr Roberts right now. In my opinion, Harry is going through a crisis - "a nervous breakdown".
I believe that this show is a dose of REALITY. I hope people realize that this is the way our job is every day for the faculty and students. The teaching profession has one of the highest rates of disability due to mental illness.
Teaching is an act of altruistic love, and not easy.
Just my opinion.
