Personally, I have never really gotten that impression. I do think that Harry dislikes Scott more than Scott dislikes Harry, while Scott disrespects Harry moreso than the reverse. But Harry's trademark barbs of wit have always been their most venomous when Scott was the target.

My first impression of what you say here is that it was a very good point--but then I thought about what happened when one of those students got into an actual debate. That may well still be a burr in Scott's bottom, and poisoning his attitude toward the rest of the dungeon students.
