Subject: So let's hear it

After reading what some of you have written about the current season of Boston Public, I have to agree and disagree with what has been said. Yes, the second season does focus on more of the personal life of the teachers which can be somewhat troubling, but at the same time, I believe that it is important to see what else teachers go throught. As a 23 year old high school teacher, I watch Boston Public religiously and I was upset at first that it does focus less on the classroom. However, the new season shows what us teachers have to go through outside of the classroom. I actually model some of my teaching on what I see on Boston Public and I am very proud of that. As a fan, I must continue to support Boston Public because it is teaching society about what it is really like to be a high school teacher, especially a teacher who struggles with the problems of their students, just like I do! Comments are welcomed!
