i don't mean to sound patronising but aren't you a little young to be having sex? not only is it illegal but most 12yr olds aren't mature enough. i was the same age as you when i first had sex and i always wish i had waited. i'm 22 now. but anyway, your 'cherry' can get popped through playing strenuous sports, or when u have your first period, not just through intercourse. its actually a very thin membrane (like a layer of skin) that crosses the cervix sort of like a shield. when it breaks it may bleed a bit. that is probably what has happened. one point i must make though is that if you are adamant you want to have sex then please please please make sure you use protection! babies are extremely hard work, i have a girl 18mths, at my age. i don't know how i would've coped at 12yrs old. but thats not the worst thing that can happen. there are many diseases you can pick up such as herpes, warts etc the more serious ones can kill you. like HIV.
