The problem with your idea is that time is our 'relative constant'. Time can't get bigger or smaller because we base everything on it. Can time change? Nope. Lets pretend that it did change (bigger or smaller)...everything else would change thus the appearance of change would be nil and void. Appearance is everything in this world and if there is no appearance of an act, (because everything else has changed along with it) then it cannot be perceived and never happened.
