This is why K9-Tactics will have a Tactical Endurance Examination. This examination will test Handler and K-9 in a timed agility course. I take my dog for a low impact two to three mile run approximately three times a week to keep him in shape for competitions and if there was every a time I needed him for a personnel safety situations. I do know there are a lot of factors that effect endurance in dogs like genetics, food, drive, and how there are housed. I stick with Malinois just because that is the breed that I know and have connections to purchase ones for my purpose. Christy your Tosa was the first and only one I have every seen and I was very impressed. Your dog has great power and is truly a civil dog.
