Would you vote me??? I am open to accepting campaign contributions. JUST KIDDING!!! Actually I have no intention of ever running for office. First of all, I do not think I would receive many votes. A lot of my opinions (during campaigning it would be called platforms) would be that popular for the general public because the truth hurts. Second, I cannot be bought by special interest groups ...seriously! I would not be that popular with the folks on Capital Hill. Last, but certainly not least, I am pretty uncompromising in my political stance. If I believe in something, I am pretty passionate about it. I will not sacrifice one belief to accomplish another. I refuse to make any "backroom" deals. It is all or nothing and I will be the first to say that in order to be a succesfull politician, you have to sacrifice some principals. That I am not willing to do so therefore I would not make a good politician. Thanks for asking though. I will take that as a vote of confidence in my political philosophy and my leadership abilities.
