>You seem like an intelligent guy
Thank you.

>I read your article about the Green Party and it was pretty harsh.
I do not sugarcoat my opinions

>Not all of us are "granola eaters".
Would you settle for a majority?

>We are just sick and tired of living in a country where a select few control the economy.
Everyone controls the economy. That is what capitalism is all about. The more you work and sacrifice, the more it benifits you. If you are not willing to work hard, take chances and make sacrifices, you will not "succeed". You will then fall on the tired, old liberal excuse that it is not your fault and that the "system" is not fair. The system is the fairest out of all social/economic "ism's" because it makes you work for your share of the pie instead of falling back, being lazy and benefitting from the sour fruits obtained by government plunder (seizing money/property from someone who worked for it to give to someone who did not work for it).

>What is wrong with a centralized form of income distribution?
Many things. The use of force in seizing of someones money/property that they worked for to give to someone who did not work for has another name ...it is called stealing or plundering. How is that different than some thug pulling out a gun and forcing you to give them all the money in your wallet? He may very well "need" the money more than you do but does that make it right? That is the tactic our government uses and it is dangerously close to socialism. Also, it takes away from the individual. If you truly believe in individualism and freedom, don't you think an individual should have the right to keep the money that they worked for and not have it seized by force through a centralized government?

>What is wrong with a form of nationalized health care? Canada has it.
Who will pay for it? That's right, the tax payers. "Shortages of skilled workers, low morale, long queues for services, crumbling facilities and corrupt practises. Is this a picture of your typical industry in Soviet Russia 40 years ago? No, welcome to today’s British National Health Service (NHS) in all its naked glory." This is just a sample of what is wrong with socialized health care. For more information, go to http://www.angelfire.com/pa/sergeman/issues/healthcare/socialized.html

>So we want an end to nuclear weapons of mass destruction, I beg you to tell me the harm in that.
Guess what? Conservatives, be it Libertarian or Republican do not want a nuclear war. But as I stated in my article, it is our stockpile of nuclear weapons that keep the dogs at bay. If we were to totally disarm our nuclear weapons, do you honestly think that nobody in the world would take advantage of that? Hell, 9/11 proved that you do not need a gun or a bomb to inflict mass pain and destruction on a civilized country.

>Like I said, you seem pretty nice and somewhat intelligent.
Thank you again.

>Maybe you should pay more attention to the world around you and look for solutions instead of critisizing it.
Yes, I do a lot of critisizing but I critisize the things that have been tried and have been proven to be failures. I offer my own and the Libertarian partys suggestions and solutions but unfortunately, nobody has the guts to give them a try. So what do I do? I continue to critisize.

Cheers!
Cheers to you too! Feel free to come back and post again. As long as the conversation is civil and polite, I will be more than happy to debate anyone on my board. Take care and thanks for posting!
