I'd be happy for some new short courses on the main roads instead of the country lanes Mike. I much prefer a DC to country lanes too. Rugby Velo have a 7 mile course using part of the K10/10F course I believe?? could we use that??

Sorry, I probably have to join Hywel on the soap box too.

We really do need to keep good links with the local communities on parking, standing around in the road and general respect for other road users (yes, I know I've sworn at the odd car driver myself!) :O)

I keep my horse at Grandborough and last year I was very disappointed to hear back that one of the TT riders had sworn at the horse riders and told them to get out the *ffing road. I know this isnt the majority but sadly it only takes one to spoil it all. Horse riders, farmers, tractors etc use those roads every day. We have no right to expect them not to be there because we want to race.

Please please please be nice to horses etc! Dont forget, some of them are carrying small children and if the horse spooks, the child falls off and gets seriously injured, it just isnt worth it for a PB...

Re parking at other events, I completely agree, why get the backs up of local residents parking on the grass when there are places close by like Blooms to park. Maybe we all need to do our bit and be responsible?

Anyway, now I should get back off my soap box and get on my bike and actually do a race :o/
